The Grief Riders of Pelor are a band of (mostly) Humans and Elves who travel the coastal cities bringing the Good Word of Pelor to the masses. They are a neutral group (as far as anyone is concerned) and they act as knights of good deeds. They bring food to the hungry, defend the defenceless, fight against the darkness of evil, and pay heed to the Word of Pelor.
History
In 0SD in the first hours of the Disappearance of the Sun, Hilaw Jacoe (king of Jacoe) and his brother Jackson (High Priest of the Church of Pelor) gathered three dozen of their best men to bring the light and shield of Pelor to the people of Torun. Every man was said to have shone as bright as the sun as they traveled through the lands spreading the Good Word to all who would hear it.
In The World
They are accepted freely into all cities in Turon as humble servants to all people despite race, religion, class, or location. They are a numbered in the fourties, and usually travel in groups of 4-6 (unless an event calls for more).
