Rokdar

From D&D Wiki

Much like Lafavel, the Dwarves that dwell in the Rokdar mountains have named their nation after the mountains themselves. These mountains take up most of the land on the Narrow Pass, but there’s still plenty of flat enough ground for travel (not that there’s much of a reason anymore). The Dwarves of Rokdar tend to be more insular when it comes to the other races. They will trade with them (and indeed, pay Tha’velen for the upkeep of a major trade road), but do not make any special accommodations for them in their cities or even really allow outsiders in the earthen cities themselves. Most trading that happens at Rokdar happens in small outposts just outside the walls of their city entrances where Dwarven merchants will bring cartfuls of goods to the surface.

The Rokdar mountains are filled with large adamantium deposits. So much so that almost all the adamantium in the world comes from the Rokdarian mountains (there are other sources, but if you were to buy a bar of adamantium without asking where it came from, chances are it would be from Rokdar. Just this on its own has kept Rokdar a relevant nation as time has passed, to say nothing of the other metals and crafts that come from the Rokdarian cities.

When the Rending happened, most of the old Dwarven structures that existed on the surface were destroyed or swept away as the earth shifted. Some remnants of those structures can still be found, but they are by and large left to decay and crumble.
