DM Summary
Coliseum! Day 2!
After the qualifying round, our heroes have breakfast--Mikey and Smash eat at Portage Bay.
Upon leaving the Prancing Iguana tavern, The Professor spends his time before the beginning of the Coliseum games investigating the death of Yosni Gall. It turns out she was stabbed six times and her eyes were removed. Curious. After discussing the murder with the city guard--who The Professor is certain are lying and covering things up and has severe disagreements with over "courts of law"--our gang makes their way back to the Coliseum.
And, at high noon, the games begin. Fighting, death, yielding, and blood. Smash makes his way through the ranks, never faltering, smashing his opponents. In the first round, he fights King Kang--a massive Orc. They trade blows for but a moment before Kang is slain by Smash. Mikey, in his round, finds himself against Terrence Barrows. Their fight is slow, but Mikey makes a grave mistake: He uses his magical dragon breath and is disqualified from the Coliseum.
In the next fight, Smash is paired with his new friend, now foe, Luda Darkver1. The fight rages on as Luda gets a few slashes in, but it is Smash who makes the final slash to Luda, ending her life. Others battle and the standings move around. In the Quarterfinals, Smash is against Raas R'lyah, a pale monk from a hidden city. The fight ends quickly as Smash rages on, forcing Raas to yield in her final moments on the battlefield.
During the fight, Ella makes her way towards the Royal viewing box where the Dwarven King and Queen sit with Bartleby and the young Seaside prince. She notices the Dwarven Prince--Damian Birsk--sneak away during the fights.
