DM Summary

Heroes!

After their friend Mikey had appeared, having killed all the Kobolds in the abandoned Dungeon Fortress dungeon, our heroes explored a large sacrificial room. Wishing to tempt fate, Ella attempted to gain any power she could by sacrificing a Kobold to the goddess Hecate—something Billie and Smash were not fans of. The ever-curious Professor and their friend Mikey gathered around Ella as she began the sacrifice ritual, only to have it backfire!

Displeased with the failed ritual, the goddess Hecate animated the 12-foot-tall statue in her likeness to smash our heroes! While it was a bloody event, they managed to down their foe.

Meanwhile, Phineaus, the Outlander, had been sucked into another plane of existence… The Shadowplane! A world of sad, grey evil. Phineaus found himself in a stone room with three other humanoids—Ulf son of Bolf (a dwarven warrior), and Berovich Chergoba and Sir Maxwell the Tall (a priest and paladin of Athena). As the soon found out, it was the Titan Kronos who had plucked them from the Material Plane. Why? To bet on their lives verses two beasts of mighty strength!

But Phineaus would not be satisfied with that fate. Seeing others in the audience above him discussing their gambling, he placed a wager on his own soul: Win? 3 boons from the Titan. Lose? His soul would be Kronos’ to keep. Kronos, ever the sportful Titan, agreed to this wager, certain of his odds. However, to the Titan’s dismay, this unlikely group of heroes slayed their foes, each finding themselves rewarded and sent back to the Material plane.

What will happen next? Will the party leave the dungeon to find Phineaus had returned? What will Ulf son of Bolf do with his newfound strength? Are the priests/cultists of Athena a threat to everyone in the material plane? FIND OUT NEXT TIME!
