The Dwarven Wedding Session 5

Session #5 of The Dwarven Wedding.

Date: September 25th, 2016

Summary

Someone from Thain-win sent a magically sealed message to free Tolnor... but our heroes discovered that it was a charmed message! Nonetheless, Tolnor was let go. After some discussion, a plan was hatched to head north to Thain-win on the far north side of the world--quite a trip from the deep-south fortress of Bulf. After a few days of travel, our heroes arrived in Trader's Den, a city known for it's massive size, markets, and lack of city guard.

Upon arrival, Luana wandered to find more sleeping salve ingredients and happened across an apothecary called Apothekary where she was harassed and run out of the store. Once outside, she found a beautiful Elf druid named Marwin (long locks of ivy ran down her hair and the crowd seemed to bend around her). After a small chat, Marwin pointed Luana towards a more trustworthy apothecary owned by Marwin's brother Creed. Marwin expressed her happiness to see a halfling and informed Luana she was from Thain-win, but hadn't visited in many years.

Before visiting Creed's apothecary, the gang sat down at a bar for a drink and some dinner. Verity played some songs and managed to get food and drinks for free and was loved by the crowd--a slew of young humans and elves who were, ultimately, hipsters. Luana found herself at a table with four humans and an elf where they offered to play a game of Settlers of Turon for money. After a moment, Tolnor and Remnant began watching the game only to find that the group was scheming against Luana and cheating to win! Tolnor objected and the gang were scared out of the tavern.

Following this, the group left to go to Creed's Apothecary in a nicer part of town. While they did manage to find the Apothecary, Creed was leaving and asked them all to come back the following day--he especially wanted to talk to Remnant. After Creed hurriedly left, the group was ambushed by the humans and elf from before! After a quick fight, one human ran away, one had died, and the other two (Colin and Kevin) were taken prisoner along with the elf. One of the surviving humans (Colin) revealed that Ish (the elf) was frustrated he got swindled by our group...

But what's next?!
