The Host

Background

A former weapons dealer and head of the largest smuggling network in the Detroit metroplex, The Host, had his hands in many pies. From weapons deals with local gangs and runners to lucrative contracts with private security companies like Lone Star, The Host was making money hand over fist. He laundered what nuyen he gained through the front of his fairly popular nightclub, The Void. In addition to arms dealing, it was rumored that he was working with Ares Macrotechnologies on a secret project.

Circumstances of his death

The Host was killed in his nightclub when Mirrors emptied a full clip into his head following a fith that left many injured.

He was later found dead alongside an adviser and an Ares bodyguard. Much of his office suite was ransacked, no information dealing with his smuggling operations was discovered in the aftermath. Online forums speculate it was a business deal gone wrong, a disagreement spouting up between the two parties. Others yet speculate a targeted hit on these individuals by assassins opposed to the business dealings between Hassan and the Megacorp Ares.
