SKM is a human-looking android with tan skin, and dark grey hair. Some would say he looks like a natural born human if it wasn’t for all the circuits. But he has given up trying to look human. He understands he’s different and therefore does not try to hide the obvious circuitry that lines his skin (unlike other androids).
His eyes are a dark brown, speckled with yellow motes of color—dots of the nanites that live in his system and keep his biological body synced with his machinery.
His getup is plain and simple. Standard tactical gear, boots, basic armor, gloves, etc. His armor shows its wear: dents, scrapes, and acid burns from previous incursions with the swarm. He carries a high-powered sniper on his back and a simple slug-pistol in his arm’s weapon compartment.

- The comet's light is in the room, and it begins to concentrate
- There's an overwhelming sense of peace
- Independence has sacrificed a large part of themselves for this and they return the crown to Scout

- We set out to The Oasis
- It's going to be a 2 hour journey
- Scout lends Bunn 400 credits to get some extra damage on his weapon
- We cruise for a bit, Cinneka is a litle lost, "The desert shifts from time to time."
- After a while, we come to a city... full of various different buildings and material types
- Cenneka thinks there's a connection to the Forever Queen in the city that we use to juice up the crown
- It looks like a war has come through this city
- This is maybe where the Swarm "practices"
- Oh no
- Crash notices some of the buildings look like they belong in different places: Absolam station, etc.
- We walk into the city and we start to hear a fight ahead on the road!
- We turn a corner and we see some screecher bugs made of stone and plastic
- They're fighting a crude SDF soldier
- We jump in and just fucking annihilate these fake bugs
- Just absolutely wreck them
- And... their dust begins to grow into a pile... into a featureless humanoid figure
- It has horns on its head as if it's wearing a crown
- Pepper surmises that we need to touch the crown to the figure but it will need a sacrifice of martial strength
- We all get a -2 penalty to attack and damage rolls
- We do a bit of searching around we found some coooool stuff
- AND 10k MIND BUX
- And Bunn pays Scout back. Nice.
- We get back to Cenneka's boat, and she notes that we kinda look like shit (WE DID A SACRIFICE)
- She hands us some concoctions - Nanite Hypopens (see inventory)
- We start to head toward the oasis... and a storm comes
- Crash and Pepper are affected
- Out of the tail of the storm, 4 Swarm Escachides show up.
- OKAY FUCKERS
- We manage to knock them all down. PHEW.

- We do some shopping, get some cool shit
- We go to leave and are immediately jumped by some ghost bugs
- We breathe, then head to the Gift room and A FUCKIN WORM COMES OUT OF SOME DIRT
- But we survive and we take a full rest
- We go to speak to Independence when we're interrupted by Cinneka
- Scout questions her but she says she randomly appeared here BACK WHEN THE PACT WORLDS WERE FIRST INVADED

- We talk to Cinneka and they ask about the Crown of Hylax
- It's not a weapon so much as a thing we can sacrifice to to be used to pacify the Swarm???
- She asks us about visions (Bun had some)
- Then she invites us out to her Barge

- There's a bunch of tallow candles burning, and we come to a wall of Swarm heads mounted on walls
- Cinneka shows us their 3d map and we're headed for an OASIS BABY

- We speak with Independence, a "Ch'charn construct"
- They're an independent being
- Suddenly the ofog crashes in around us
- We can't see anything but this swirling maelstrom
- It's a SURVIVAL CHALLENGE
- We make it
- And then we're transported INTO THE MINDS OF FUCKING THRESHERS AND WE WRECK SHIT
- Back to the mindscape
- We follow Independence's guidance and come to a building of some kind
- Suddenly, two GIANT statues come to life and we fight 'em!
- Cool shared HP pool thing, twas fun
- They were named "Doubt" and "Hesitation"
- We enter the building. It looks like a Hylaxian council room
- Independence shows up
- They explain that we're in a market of idea
- There's also a gift shop and Market
- Looks like we've earned 11250 Psychic-Buck$
- We head down towards the market
- We see paintings of insectoid-humanoids praising Hylax
- As we continue down the hall, we see paintings of them "thinking with one mind"
- Continuing, they become twisted into swarm forms
- The images... begin to move
- And we get fucked up by a trap
- We come across a small shrine, amateurish
- We find a Mk3 Ring of Resistance, Pepper takes it, gives her +2 ring to Crash, and Crash leaves her +1 ring with the shrine
- We get to the Market, it's all ghosts... like force ghosts
- And Joldamarik is there!!
- Shopping between sessions! Max Item level 12! Woohoo!
5/31/2021
- We fight Olo who was about to attack Tuva, who was at the dias chanting
- We BARELY survive
- Tuva stops chanting
- The crown of Hylax is now glowing white. The ritual she was performing is complete.
- We're off to the swarm mindscape next.
- She pulls out three spell ampules
- Healing spells - Mystic Cure (3rd level) - 5d8 + 5 HP
- We all touch this crown, it's made of stone
- We are now the champions of Hylax
- "Go forth and spread her light."
- We see visions of each other infused with swarm imagery
- Suddenly we're in a world of swirling white fog
- After a few minutes, there's swarm monsters
- We defeat the monsters and eventually come across a mind-bending building... we resist the mental traps and the building collapses
- As we walk, we've all started to hear muted whispering in our native tongue
- We walk more, some of the gang hearing whispers that become words (Scout can't really hear it)
- We follow their rough guidance and make it to a place where the fog clears a bit
- Above us is a silvery comet and we understand THIS is the Forever Reliquary
- The sand begins to part and a figure forms in bluish light, kind of like a shirren... but it reminds us of the Swarm

- We wake up and are brought to the meeting room
- Tuva shows us The Crown of Hylax
- They want us to take this crown to destroy the GOD HOST
- They think this can be our salvation from the Swarm
- We need to go to a pyshic REALM???
- If we can do this, we might be able to take back Suskilon

- We get some goodies for doing our trials
- And we need to blow up these some tunnels to stop the swarm from taking over the Forever Reliquary

- We step through a portal into a picturesque world
- Our goal is to meet with a new sentient species...
- We're going forward in Hylax's way and invite them to join the rest of the galaxy
- We hang out with some blob dudes and successfully make friends with them
- They give us some medicine candy!
- We get to name them: Flubbers

- We play some cards with some dudes, Scout wins 25 credits
- We wake up for our next trial... negotiate peace between the Ghoran and the Nuar on a planet
- Both are colonist groups
- We head to the planet
- We do some negotiations
- We do pretty okay
- The Ghoran and the Nuar give us some dope gifts
- Sellable clippings and seeds from the Ghoran

- Scout asks Allycyn for her number before they leave, she says look it up next time you're in town

- We head back to the asteroid
- A day of rest later, we head to our third quest

- We need to save some folks from an exploding volcano, escort them across a land bridge to safety

- We left a carbon staff in the offering table
- We notice a pattern in the ground
- We use our spy drone to fly up and the pattern says in Shirren: "UNDERGROUND"
- We decide we gotta find this temple. Let's do some survival checks'.

- We have a few fights, avoid some bees, then we find another temple
- Three Shirren are inside:
- Kiarth, Nuritch, and Yachern
- They welcome us in after Bun manages to chat with them
- We meet a big lady named Tuvah
- She's a Trox... she beeeeg
- She's been watching us traverse across the surface of the asteroid
- This place is a monestary
- But she needs to present us to the "sacred assembly"
- "I'm sure you'll do fine... be on your best behavior."
- We get to the assembly... HUGE place. Lots of pews, lots of insectile folks

- A trox
- We take a seat in the front row as Tuvah takes her seat
- Tuvah can see into the future?
- She says the swarm is bound to take over all things
- But supposedly we're the saviors

- Bun and Scout head up to the dais to speak as to why we've come to the Forever Reliquary
- Tuvah casts a Zone of Truth around us
- Bun delivers our story
- Tuvah admits that they guard a massive secret to the Forever Queen
- She wants to put us through a set of trials

- Scout asks about who all lives on this asteroid

- This room looks like it's supposed to be cleaner than most
- Harrisskor shows us how to clean our shit before we walk through the library
- We get cleaned up
- We look up info on how the people here worship Hylax
- No difference
- We look up info on the swarm and don't find much, but we DO find a name of the peoples who came before the Shirren and Swarm broke apart: Kucharn
- There's no records of the previous trials
- The assembly council members have participated in the trials
- We ask Harrisskor about what her trial was like... actual boring diplomacy shit
- We continue down through the other wings of this place
- We find Ithavine, a host Shirren
- Pepper gives Ithavine the Dermal Stapler from our null chamber and they telepathically thank us
- This dude doesn't think we have it in us to get through the trials
- The swarm is too powerful...
- Bun asks about their trials
- They worked with Meershmar on a planet where the Swarm was invading
- Their trials all centered around alleviating pain, helping evacuate, healing, etc.
- Despite their trial, the Swarm completely dominated the planet. They couldn't rescue anyone they helped.
- We head to the south wing, where it looks like most people live
- including our chambers
- There's some dang kids here
- We head to the West Wing
- Cue bad jokes
- This is the mechanical wing
- We find an engineering workshop
- We find Merrshmar (a Formian) working at a desk
- We give him 1000UPBs to helped
- Crash and Pepper help him with computer stuff
- He tells us the same story Ithavine told us
- After some convincing, Pepper and Crash give him the nickname of Skip and he likes it.
- Ultimately, we get the idea that these trials were varying but none had to do with fighting
- OKAY. I BELIEVE YOU.
- We go grab some food with Tuvah and folks
- They tell us more about their trials
- And we're told to rest up... the trials BEGIN TOMORROW
- We wake up and are met by Kearth, one of the guards
- Tuvah is prepping the chamber
- We're taken to the portal room
- It kind of looks like someone home media room
- They have a view tube to see all sorts of stuff in the universe
- We have 12 hours to get in and get out for our first trial
- Tuvah chants, the asteroid feels like it's rumbling and moving...
- Suddenly there is silence.
- Then a sudden feeling of dread as the halo screen illuminates revealing a place of colorful foliage and blue skies...
- "Praise Hylax, a location has been found"
- And we step through the portal to a lush, pastoral landscape

- We manage to kill the giant Bug mid-fight
- Scout digs out Huskamu
- Etchiax shoots some bug ships out of the sky
- Etchiax says her people are on their way with vehicles inbound

- We make our way off planet and meet with Najeeri
- We hand off the info we found

- We leave the asteroid field to see a large nebulae
- There's a Shirren star ship in the nebulae, occasionally getting struck by lightning
- The ship looks like it's older, but not ancient
- 30-40 years old
- We make our way towards the new ship

- We turn the power back on and get into the server room
- We find our 5th fire extinguisher
- BUNN IS ENCUMBERED
- We find the server room, grab the datapad
- We also find some really cool weapons
- We come back upstairs and the FUCKING FIRE MONSTER IS UNLEASHED
- We fight, find a cool solerian crystal, and one more fire extinguisher
- We make our way back to base
- We get healed up by the local medics
- Then we dig in on the data we found
- Galchek notes that the Shirren begin to speak less terrifyingly about the Swarm after 4AG (~300 years ago)
- The Forever Reliquary seems to have some sort of relic that benefitted the Shirren
- Scout recognizes some data about a comet with a semi-predictable route - The Prodigal Stone
- Galchek notes: Could this be the Forever Reliquary?
- Scout says: "Well, if this bug was trying to dig info out of Galchek's brain, maybe this is what they were looking for. We should get the hell out of here and find that Comet."
- BUT TONIGHT WE PARTY
- We SELL AND SELL AND CRAFT AND SELL

- We wake up and the base is being bombed, we run out and get into a fight

- In a display case we find a chunk of chiten (kiten?)

- On a datapad, we see notes about how they were modified to protect against Formeans
- In general, they were trying to figure out how to split something from a hivemind

2/7/2021
- We fight and fight and deal with this goddamn monster of a bug's innards.
- Bunn almost dies.... twice.
- We fight off the brain and the thing deflates
- WE LEVEL UP! (Level 6) HELL YES
- We blast out of the bug and jump into a transport.
- Etchiax blows a tunnel we drive through to block off the swarm.
- We make it back to HQ!
- We get fully healed!
- We meet a kid who pulled pranks at the university?
- THere are these things called Gelugon (Fire Extinguishers) that can be used for pranks?
- This kid says he can make some grenades or something out of them if we find some.
- When we get to the university, we're looking for a rectangular building, likely 3 floors (left) plus a basement level
- We fight some weak buggers when we get there... we're monsters at level 6
- We find some info on where Galchek's office is (1026)
- We find some goodies
- including a fire extinguisher
- We fight a dude in Galchek's room, Crash goes down
- But we win the fight

- We follow Etchiax to their base
- We follow for a while, we see all sorts of wreckage from the Swarm fracking the whole damn planet
- Etchiax tells us about their leader, Hescamu -- another Bolida
- We get to a camp, there's a lot of Shirren and Bolitas. Some Formian and Haans (spidery but bipedal)
- None of the other races of people survived, only insectoid folks
- Scout asks about what their long term plan is... and Hescamu shows up
- We tell Hescamu that we're looking for Galchak
- They doesn't know where Galchak is, but he'll ask around
- Hescamu gives us a map of the area.
- There's been a lot of planetary fuckery lately... lava plumes and such
- There's a giant fucking tick monster outside of Uutz, and Hescamu thinks that we can fix some of the local planetary shit if we destroy the tick.

- Hescamu thinks we can get INSIDE the tick and destroy it.
- We get a little healing then head out to the big fat beast
- Immediately, we get into a fight. YIKE
- We kill the buggers real fast
- then we move into another room
- And we all almost fucking die

- We get called into Najeeri's office
- Xelanon is there, he speaks to us about The Forever Reliquary
- We're looking for a professor (Galchak) in the Chuuva system, on the planet Ilemchuiuva
- He wrote some stuff about The Forever Reliquary (fringe writing)
- He worked at Zessh University
- Apparently the swarm hit this planet before Suskilon
- Najeeri pulls up some holos of the planet, it looks nice...
- Then we see the wasteland POST-Swarm.
- "This is the result of six months of the Swarm's Tender love and care"
- Bunn asks about potential bases we could use... it might be possible
- What kind of ship?
- Something more apropriate than the luxury cruiser we had
- We get The Flash Viper
- The Swarm has fucked up the atmosphere, it should probably be breathable, but not nice
- We jump on the ship and plot a SUPER FAST route to Ilemchuiuva, 6 days
- We do some minor bonding in the days of travel (thanks to Bunn)
- Scout trains more with his new Battle Ribbon
- We get close to Chatchamiq, Ilemchuiuva's only moon
- We see some Swarm ships darting around the planet
- The surface of the planet looks MUCH worse than we expected
- Massive fissures and cracks visible from space
- Lava rivers on the dark side of the planet
- Storms moving at incredible speeds
- We capture data in the ship
- We see a huge battleship: a Dreadlancer - a HUGE ship, stardestroyer sized
- The smaller ships darting around are Altipheron ships, about the same size as The Flash Viper
- The Dreadlancer is in orbit around the planet
- Pepper surmises that we can shut down our whole ship save necessities, we can find a way to glide down to the planet
- We'll need to try to predict how the swarm will move
- We make it.... barely
- We make our way into the planet's atmosphere and it looks...... bad.
- A huge chasm separates the city, causing half of the city to be elevated by 200ft
- Crash tries to find somewhere for us to land
- We get hit by a storm on our way in to land, taking 7AC damage that bypasses our shields
- We step out onto Ilemchuiuva
- It is NOT pretty
- We get into a fiiiight
- Scout almost dies.... AGAIN
- Three people approache after the fight
- An Android, Bolida, and a Shirren.
- The Shirren approaches closer, she has some cybernetic augmentation on her head -- an exocortex
- Her name is Etchiax
- She asks us what we're doing here, Bunn explains
