Growing up outside of Kase, Lem always had a fondness for nature and animals. When circumstances in his life suddenly changed for the worse, he joined the Ramblers Trailhead and Forestry Association as a means of escape. With the help of his new friends in the Ramblers, Lem traveled to Highland Crossing where he spent a year studying maps and learning about the flora and fauna of the riverlands and beyond. The last few years have seen him journeying north, clearing trails and hunting beasts west of the Deepwoods and at the base of the mountains of Thain-win.
Three and a half feet tall with a wide, cheerful grin, Lem is not an imposing figure. His expressive face is topped with loose dark brown-green hair and below his hawkish nose is a cleanly trimmed goatee of similar color. He is wiry and quick, his body tough and weathered from years working in the wilderness.  When traveling, he favors simple clothing: a forest colored poncho wrap over a stained cotton shirt and brown breeches, and worn leather boots. When out and about he wears an almost-too-large, floppy, tan-colored canvas hat.
