Session 7

Summary

After receiving a message from a friend of Deadman, the crew meets with a corporate contact, "Mr. Two Million Dollars" and accepts a job to find a missing person and retrieve some important data in his possession. The target and data went missing around the

After some research and prep, the crew travels to Golden Street to look for clues as to the targets whereabouts. On Golden Street, the crew meets their contact, Dynamite (aka Francis) and the troll Felix Alvarez, at the Turtle Martial Arts Academy. They learn of the neighborhoods social climate and the current positions of the areas gangs including the Red Dragons, the Cutters, and the new decker gang, the Slicers.

The crew explores the street, investigating the Slicer's establishment, Terminus. After being turned away at Terminus and consulting with Dynamite, the crew decides to visit The Lucky Seven to ask for information from the Red Dragons, taking advantage of Dynamite's contact with them. There they happen to find the leader of the Red Dragons, Fat Lee.

Session 8

Summary

Previously trying to avoid becoming entangled with the gangs in the sprawl, the crew find their contact with Red Dragon leader, Fat Lee somewhat troubling. However, after a discussion, they find that the Dragon's leader is somewhat on the outs, an aged troll who's more inclined to relive the past and tell circular stories. A vast difference from the brutal and violent gang leader he once was. After a confusing and seemingly pointless conversation, they leave The Lucky Seven, Dynamite revealing a secret message delivered to them while in the restaurant. Helpful, but an annoyance to the group.

Taking guidance from Fat Lee's message, MRV and Killy hack the host at a Slicer hangout. There in the Slicer host, they find a series of messages from various Slicer members alluding to several muggings in the area targeting persons with expensive-looking technology. They also find that Dylan Foster, a high ranking member or lieutenant of the Slicers, has ordered Slicers to avoid killing their targets.

Working off this, the crew sets up a sting operation to lure out Slicer members. Deadman poses as a target with expensive-looking tech and the crew ambushes a couple of Slicers. With a bit of magic from Mirror, they find out that the Slicers are meeting with the Cutters that night.

The crew also runs into their target, Robert Green, who they find has had the hard drive stolen from his cyberbrain, the target data stolen in the process. Robert Green has a recording embeded into his mind however, and with a bit of matrix work from MRV, Mr. Green illuminates some details of a "Project Titan". Within the recording, the crew find links between the project and The Archduke as well as their experiences at The Void.

Breaking into the basement facilities at the Slicer bar known as Terminus, the crew finds a LAN operation and surveillance overseeing a meetup between the Slicers and the Cutters. All they have to do is wait.

Session 9

Summary

From the relative safety of the Slicer's basement operation beneath Terminus, the gang observes the meetup between the Cutters and the Slicers. It doesn't go well for the Slicers, their leader, Dylan Foster, beaten and captured, the rest of the Slicers beaten back or killed. Its during this meet that they see the hard drive that they've been paid to retrieve being handed to The Red.

Meeting up with Lily and Nikolai, some runner friends of Dynamite's, the crew heads into the barrens to hunt down the Cutters and recover the hard drive. They discover the Cutter's compound, and with very little information decide to infiltrate.

Using invisibility, Mirror makes his way inside, climbing the main command tower to gain a vantage point. At the top of the tower however he discovers a sniper on watch. A gunfight ensues wherein Mirror is injured, yet he manages to take down his quarry. The compound becomes a flurry of activity as the gangers are alerted by the sounds of gunfire, and the rest of the group rushes in to reinforce.

A large firefight breaks out, the crew defending themselves by holing up at the top of the tower, bottling the gangers through the hallways of the tower. Calm and in a very good position, the crew makes it out mostly unscathed. However, as they clean up the last of the gangers, they see more Cutter forces returning to the base through the main gate.

Hoping to get a preemptive strike on the returning forces, Mirror leaps atop the window ledge of the command tower, raining rifle fire on the vehicles and gangers below. He's caught off guard when the gangers return fire however, and a bullet catches him in the neck, ending his killing spree and his life.

Session 10

Summary

The crew descends from the command tower to hunt down the hard drive that they know to be in one of the ancillary buildings in the compound. Searching the building immediately surrounding the command tower, they discover the hard drive. Payday. While searching however, they also uncover the whereabouts of Dylan Foster who is being kept in a room in the barracks. They decide to rescue him, thinking that his knowledge and position as a gang leader may be valuable to them later. When they go to recover him however, the crew finds Foster has been tortured, his body cut and his eyes damaged and removed.

With a distraction set by their cohorts Dynamite and Nikolai, the crew makes it out the main gate and to their escape vehicle. Hours later, after a bit of cleanup, organization, and a little nap, the crew pings Mr Two Million Dollars and arranges a meetup to exchange the hard drive for payment.

At the meet however, they are double crossed (or... single crossed? just crossed?) by Mr Two Million Dollars and attacked by an Ares security team. In the fracas, Deadman unleashes a spirit that decimates the security team.
