Description

Bun is broad-shouldered with a stocky build from his mostly sedentary life aboard the Iruvian Dawn. He has small tusks and a slight greenish grey to his skin; the most prominent features hinting at his orcish ancestry. He often wears casual clothing, stationwear, and free t-shirts advertising companies and products.

Background

Bundoth Kogah has traveled the stars for five years, serving aboard the transport freighter Iruvian Dawn for the last three, where he gained the nickname “Bun”. Serving as a deckhand or as extra muscle for security, Bun has always done whatever needed doing to keep himself on the move. He’s not exactly sure what he's doing out in the black, but he’s been waiting. Waiting for the next gig, the next task, the next assignment. Waiting for destiny to reveal itself to him. Perhaps he waited too long.

Destiny found Bundoth while the Iruvian Dawn was departing from the wartorn planet of Suskillon after a routine supply drop. The swarm tore through the ship's hull on takeoff scattering debris and crew across five miles of desert. He felt lucky to have survived, though as he scouted the wreckage for crew and supplies he found it might have had little to do with luck.

He had been “blessed by the light of the stars,” as a couple of his crew put it. A shard of light follows him now, empowering and emboldening him. And while he’s stranded on Suskillon, he’ll do what he can to help the resistance.

2020-09-07 - Session 8

• Regrouping after the space battle, we find that several ship systems are damaged/sabotaged
• People on the ship
  • Councilwoman Kilora Gishi

  • Otvash, Vesk soldier from Scout’s past
  • Xalenon, the Shirren priest of Hylax
  • Half-Elf (Kenda, female, civilian engineer)

• Someone sabotaged the ship and we need to find out who
• Interviewing the crew:
  • Kilora Gishi wants us to treat the civilian crew as equals

2020-09-07 - Session 6

• Heal and return to Reos
• Combined 5 hour drive to Reos
• Eerily quiet
• Most have been evacuated.
• Fires burning on the western edge of the city.
• Receive orders to head to the spaceport and evac to the planet Utraneus
• Reach the spaceport on the western edge of the city.
• Almost all the ships have been destroyed.
• Kilora Gishi, city council member approaches
• She has gathered remaining survivors that were unable to get off-planet
• Her group is looking for a ship to escape
• A passing ship gives us coordinates for a lead on a working ship.
• Hanger owned by some kind of criminal has a ship
• “Some security countermeasures”
• We enter the facility
• There are security robots
• Find powered armor used for moving crates/etc.
• Find power room for facility
• We find the ship!
  • Called the “Terminus Wild”
• We begin repairing and refueling the ship to leave
• The civilians are brought down and put aboard the ship
• While refueling, the swarm hits Reos and enter the facility.
  • We fight them off!
  • Bun almost dies!
• We take off into space, but we’re chased by swarm creatures/ships!
• Space combat!

2020-08-23 - Session 5

• We deal with the aftermath of the possession slime.
• They agree to actually evacuate the people of the city to Reos.
• We continue north towards the temple of Hylax
• We find the remains of the second battalion
• We loot they shit
• We find swarm at the temple of Hylax.
• After a brief firefight, we defeat them and make our way into the temple.
• The priest wants us to protect the temple.
• Does not want to leave.
• Scout convinces the priest to come with us.
• He heals us.
• He’s a nice dude.
• There’s an explosions at the front of the temple and more swarm bugs appear.
• WE BATTLE
• We survive and rest in the temple for the night.
• We wake up and ready to head back to Reos
• We hear a report from the SDF that the ships are getting ready to leave.
• WE GOTTA GOOOO

2020-08-06 - Session 4

• We continue north towards Lynmari.
• We find some civilians being attacked at a truck stop by bugs.
• Bun charges in and is crit 4 TIMES IN A ROW.
• We slay the bugs and help the civilians change their tires.
• They say they’ll commend us with our commander in Reos City.
• We also grab a bunch of snacks to go.
• We continue north.
• We arrive at the outskirts of Lynmari.
• A soldier with the Second battalion named Susreth Susaro is shooting
• We are able to disarm him and calm him down after a minute
• He tells us “Hylax will know”
• Susreth joins us on our journey to Lynmari
• We arrive in Lynmari
• Sign for Longship Agricultural Alliance
• Not a lot of people in town.
• There are PEOPLE STILL HERE
• People in Lynmari seem to work for Longship Agricultural Alliance
• Lynmari is a factory town
• We decide to look into the flights out of Lynmari for the civilians

2020-07-26 - Session 3

• A man from the Bronze Beam Research Consortium is speaking at the base
• Loachwurt, Z. is his name
• Hates the military, thinks they don’t know what they’re doing.
• Is stirring up the civilians.
• New agents to Midnight Squad
• “Scout” SKM - Android Operative
• “Crash” - Ysoki Operative
• Commander orders a retreat to Reos City in the Sahtor Region
• We hop in a tank and take up the rear guard as the convoy leaves
• Fort Gallant is destroyed after the convoy leaves, they scuttle the base
• Attacked by a Swarm ship on the road.
• Survived the attack.
• Arrive at the edge of the Sahtor Region
• Eskue Ocean can be seen
• Jurdos Mountains in the distance
• 8 more hours to Reos City
• At nightfall, we arrive in Reos City, filled with evacuees.
• Can’t get any closer because of traffic.
• Commander gives us the order to abandon vehicles and escort the evacuees from Fort Gallant to the evac ships.
• We are given the order to travel north to the Temple of Hylax to find a priest
• Located in the city of Lynmari in the mountains
• The priest claims to have information on the Swarm and was marked for priority extraction.
• A lost squadron travelled north to get this priest and wasn’t heard from again.
• Lieutenant Quvenzh is the leader of the second battalion squad.
• We’re told about the “Scorpion”.
• A medium security prison.
• We head north.
• We are attacked by inmates on the road.

2020-07-12 - Session 2

• Heading south toward Fort Gallant
• We come across the body of a civilian
• We’re attacked by a Brush Dog
• Pepper kills it.
• Olo and Pepper are seriously wounded.
• We find a bag of supplies with the civilian body. Healing serums and stims.
• Aaron Kelvin was the name of the civilian.
• We continue south.
• We approach the bridge
• Olo is killed by swarm soldiers as we get to the bridge.
• Bun carries Pepper and runs across the bridge.
• There are some skill checks.
• Take a truck to Fort Gallant
• Speak with Lieutenant Gorham
• Tells us Commander H. Nayjerie wants us debriefed.
• Taken to Commander Darqin’s office for debrief
• Messy office
• Commander Hadia Nayjerie is being operated on
• Her leg is removed
• Hadia debriefs us
• She gives us 1000 UPB
• We head to the quartermaster (Janxer)
• We are introduced to BL5 who is a training droid with a combat cortex
• Will need to be charged at base.

2020-06-28 - Session 1

• Starting at Camp Cavalier

• Rumors at camp
  • High fatality rate in this war
  • Most battles are lost or the SDF is forced to retreat
  • The swarm is controlled by a large hive the size of a skyscraper
• Sent to been to meet Jaldamarrak
  • Old experienced soldier with the SDF
  • Assigns us to “Midnight Squad”
• Assigned to patrol a region to the north of camp
• We see the city in the distance.
• Pepper finds tracks of a brush stalker
• We find two insectoids while on patrol
  • We kill ‘em
• The swarm begins to attack. We see starfighters in combat overhead.
• We return to camp and Jaldamarrak assigns us to a position in defence of the city.
• We see a spacedock fall to earth.
• We’re attacked by more insectoids.
• We barely survive.
• The SDF calls for a retreat to Fort Gallant.
• We make our way towards the fort. A day's journey on foot.
• We come across Jaldamarrak in the snowscape. He’s incredibly hurt.
• Jaldamarrak orders us across the river.
