== Summary ==

The path leads them to an archway that reads "The Dark Road." Hadarri figures that this used to say "The Torunn Road" but it had been sanded down and re-written. Our heroes cautiously push their way through and discover an empty room, something that had once held a large amount of treasure, armor, and weapons, but had been cleared out.

Following the trail of gold pieces, they find a room with a few small supply rooms where it seems a fight had happened a long time ago. Two dead bodies in one room (burned and rotted bones), and another discovered by Luana, burned as well. Remnant picks up a sword, something later identified by Hadarri as a magical sword<sup>1</sup>.

They continue through the rooms and halls of this area and happen upon a torture room of sorts with a spike pit, a pedestal with the words "Spawnling" and "A Child of Darkness" written in Undercommon and Draconic respectively. Remnant realizes that in draconic, there is also an arrow pointing to a hidden crawl space near the ceiling of the wall. He climbs up to find a magically suspended block of stone that, after 5 or so feet, stops and cannot be budged. Hadarri and Hard find the remains of a few bodies in a small path off of this room, but they ultimately move on.

In the next room, the group surprises a group of Drow in the middle of a ritual. They fight and are victorious, curious to know why or how the Drow were so close to Thain-win. They investigate the rest of the room after a short rest and move on into the next room (unable to go north from the room they are in) to the south, only to find two Cyclops taking a nap!

== Notes ==

1 - The sword has an ornate hilt with the words "FOR HONOR" written in Dwarven and a blade with an intricate design of ivy with flowers of rubies. The sword must be attuned to by a Good-aligned character before being used for any magical gain--1d6 fire damage once per day if the sword "likes you" and you know its name.
