Rejoice!

While figuring out how to leave the abandoned and taken-over dwarven fortress our heroes had found themselves in, their missing companion, Mikey, arrived covered in blood. While our party was fighting the Slinky Man, Mikey was killing every last kobold he could find!

In a final sweep of the dungeon, our (mostly) united group discovered a sacrificial alter with a statue of the dark goddess, Hecate. Despite protest by Billie and Smash, Ella and The Professor were struck by curiosity and attempted to sacrifice a felled imp to the deity. With a misfired summoning by Ella, suddenly the monstrous stature of Hecate was alive and ready to destroy!

Spell after arrow after sword-slash after hex after kick-punch, our ragged band of heroes managed to down the statue, leaving Ella poisoned by the evil god’s construct. In a moment of quick wit, Ella devised a plan to heal herself by contacting The Old Great one from her past, the ancient god Boccob. After a discussion with said deity on another world, Ella found herself with magical healing seeds, a secret kept between herself and Boccob.
