Golkaav is a nation built around an old Dwarven settlement in the Kaavelian mountains. No one is entirely sure when the original Dwarven settlements were created, but it does looks like there was an abrupt halt to their progress. Since Golkaav’s founding, efforts have been made to continue the excavations into the mountains, which has provided them with a wealth of metals and minerals for trade and manufacturing purposes.

Golkaav is a diverse nation, although the population tends to favor Dwarves and Humans. People of all races are welcome there (even though sometimes considered more monstrous). The policy is that everyone is welcome, but your welcome will be revoked if you commit too severe a crime. As a result. Golkaav has a sizable Goblin and Kobold population along with the other races.
