Covina is the northernmost of the three warring kingdoms. These three kingdoms got their nickname because the three are almost constantly at war with one another, primarily over land and resources. The land these three nations share is the old home of the Yevarian nation. There are ruins scattered across the land from before the Rending that yield bountiful relics and old trinkets worth selling. Covina, in particular, fights to control land that stays warmer (and therefore farmable) longer throughout the year. They do share a border with the Demon’s Thumb and work with Daragoul to combat the demonic presence that occasionally spills out of the Thumb.

Being so close to the Thumb, Covina also sees a larger than normal amount of warlocks. But, unlike Daragoul, Covina rounds them up for service in its military. A practice that Daragoul has made it known it is not fond of, but ultimately can do little about. Entering into the seemingly everlasting war would drain Daragoul’s resources far too much when they are needed more close to home.

Covina has come to somewhat rely on these Warlocks and Tieflings to help bolster their military. Of the three kingdoms, their military is more formidable than the other two, although not so much that they could easily take over one of the two kingdoms (and even if they did, it would leave large swaths of their homeland unguarded and easy to strike at by the other kingdom.
